Elderly Jews and Holocaust survivors are extremely vulnerable during this pandemic sweeping the world. This is an extraordinary moment in time that calls for extraordinary measures. We’re packing and providing care packages to ensure that the survivor who is too fragile to leave their home will get the essential needs they need.

The Holocaust Survivors Project of Zdaka center is dedicated to providing financial aid to those elderly and forgotten Jewish Holocaust Survivors scattered throughout Israel who are sick, impoverished, isolated and receive not sufficient financial aid from other organizations.

Their families and communities destroyed by the Nazis, they struggle to survive in their few remaining years, lacking the means to buy even the most basic of human necessities: food, medicine, heat and shelter. Most live alone in harsh conditions. Our project, by bringing help quickly and directly to these survivors, helps ensure that they may live out their last years with some measure of comfort, support and dignity.

Last year 14,800 Holocaust survivors died, making it more important than ever to honor those we have with us.

100% of every donation goes directly into the hands of an elderly Holocaust Survivor.

Although this situation is urgent and dire, this crisis can be totally resolved with financial aid and donations.

Meet with survivors for one hour each week, at a mutually convenient time.
Help for survivors who need an escort to the store or to the doctor's office.
Just make a weekly phone call.
Send them flowers / Cake for Holidays / Birthday.
Help them buy medicines.
Ask them to tell you their stories.
Ask them how you can help them.
